First Wedding: Just wanted to share

Hi, all.

I'm a somewhat accomplished portrait and fine art photographer ( http://www.jeffseltzerphotography.com ) that just wanted to try and do some weddings. Life is all about experience, I say!

Okay, so here’s my first wedding. Note that it was between two men, which is legal in CA (I still don’t know how I feel about this, but anyway…). I shot the whole thing with my 5d, 135 + 35. I did rent a 24-70, but I don’t remember ever using it. I did have a second camera and I’m waiting for her images. It was a lot of hard work, and frankly I’m not sure wedding photography is for me. I hate the group shots, but they wanted them.

Quick background: Tom and Ken have been together for 18 years! Ken was actually married to a woman for some time, and had two biological children (in their early 20’s now). Interestingly, they are both deaf due to a genetic condition. Oh, and Ken’s first wife and family was there, too! Great group of people!
