Here are a few photos from Fall Creek Falls State Park in Tennessee, taken with my D70s. Your comments and critique are most welcome.
1. Fall Creek Falls, morning view. (18-70mm kit lens)
2. Morning visitors. I rarely used my 70-200VR on this trip, but I just happened to have it mounted when these guys showed up.
3. Fall Creek Falls, afternoon view. Multiple exposures merged manually. (Sigma 10-20mm)
4. Fall foliage along Cane Creek. (18-70mm kit lens)
5. Fallen leaves. (Sigma 10-20mm)
I'll close with a lesson on what not to do. If you're going to hold a filter in front of a wide-angle lens (Sigma 10-20mm in this case), it needs to be an extra large filter. It's amazing what those lenses can pick up:
6. I was able to recover that one a bit by combining multiple exposures, and doing some cloning in the upper left. This is Cane Creek Falls:
Thanks for looking!
