Who can afford that?

Pictures like that cost about 12 euros per piece to print. For a hundred prints, one can buy a 30" monitor or some nice lens.

I think that within five years one can buy a reasonably priced monitor with 10 megapixel resolution and in another five years time monitors will bypass paper resolution. And you still can't zoom into the paper (without a magnifying glass).

I do have a couple of printed "canvas paintings" though, they're about 30" by 20", and I can say that I would like to have MUCH more resolution available before getting more prints like that.
