D3 shooting Formula 1 , GP of China

D3 is a truly handy tool shooting sports.
I used Sigma 500mm f4.5, Sigma 100-300 F4, Nikon 17-55 2.8 for the last 3days.
Under normal conditions, the focus is tag-on, you focus then you get it right. There simply won't be any mistakes.
However, when I tried to shoot cars racing right towards me, it was another story. D3's focusing system was not able to react or predict as fast as the car ran. It was 300km/hr!!! Most of the pics are back focused, since at the time shutter was released, the car had run further! So I have to use manual focus instead of.
The exposure is terrific. The only post process I have done is to recrop the image.
I am really glad there are more Black Canons than before on the field.
