is it a noise?
Oct 17, 2008

Today I tried to take a picture of moon with E-3 + 50-200 + ec-14... I took raw on a tripod in A mode with ISO 200, F 5.0 1/800s. When I open the pic in Olympus Master 2( and also in Picasa ) the sky around the moon look somewhat grainy. Here's the original picture, uncropped... I guess you may need to download it to see it... here it looks okay... but when you view it large, the black part looks pretty grainy...

So is that a noise? How can I remove it? And how can I prevent it? or is it a limitation of 4/3 sensor? I really appreciate any kind of help. And if possible, can anybody process it and make it look better and tell me how to do it?

Thanking you
