SX 10is or...?

So I'm ready to make a purchase, and I'm liking the Canon SX10 IS (with or without threads, though I'd prefer with). What else is there that I should look at. I've already ruled out the Sony DSC-H50 primarily because I've not liked the DSC-W120 that I have currently. (Disappointing image quality). I like the wide angle lens on the Canon, and the 20x zoom is pretty cool too. I'd greatly appreciate some thoughts on this. Thanks a lot!
