Continuous Ink (CIS) and moving the printer
Oct 11, 2008
|
The recommendations I have seen for CIS systems has been that they need to be in a permanent location. Moving the printer is not recommended.
We move our printer between locations and sometimes do event photography. Being able to print on site is sometimes necessary, and with a CIS system, the cost would be manageable.
Could I just bolt the printer and CIS system down onto a tray, and then move the whole thing as a unit? Any other ideas?
(Printers are Epson 800, 1400, 1900, and CIS under consideration are IJF, IR, efillInk)
