What's your substitute 50mm lens for 1.6x crop?

Do you stick with a 50mm for prime (50 f1.8, 50 f1.4) or put something else on to get equivalent of about 50mm? For example:

EF 28mm f/1.8 to get about 45mm equiv.
EF 35mm f/2 to get about 55mm equiv.
Sigma 30mm f/1.4 to get about 50mm equiv.

Also mentioning the more expensive options such as EF 35 f/1.4L and EF 24mm f/1.4L....

I have tried 50mm prime on my film camera and I found it really useful for most purpose! So I am thinking to actually purchase one of those lenses to get about 50mm on my 1.6x crop body...

I usually try to avoid using third party lenses since I will probably try it on my film camera as well.
