X-Rite Pulse Spectrophotometer DTP20UV

I managed to pick one of these up pretty cheap. (less than $100) From all appearences it is in like new condition. The scanning guide has Xerox on it ... ?

I know it is an older discontinued model and comparable to the eye-one. But...

I am hoping some of our venerable members could give me some feed back on this device. Was it worth buying at the price (I don't know what licenses it has yet) or should I have save my money to buy something more 'modern' ?

I do have an i1 display 2 for my monitors, but have never done paper profiles before.

I figured it would be an inexpensive (provided it works) way to begin learning paper profiling ...

Your thoughts? Experiences?
