Do I deserve a D90?

I have been living with a Panasonic Lumix FZ15 all the while, saving money and waiting for the best camera for me. After looking at the D90, I feel this is the camera for me. I now have enough money to get a Nikon D90 body and the 18-200mm VR (I am a fan of long-zooms).

I get inspired looking at the photographs you guys make and wanted to know what you think about my photos. Here are some of my better ones.

(Some of them might look over-processed, I am still learning PP'ing)

I have a reasonable amount of knowledge on photography technique and had a Minolta film-SLR to play with for some time.

Do you think I am good enough for a D90, or if I need to work my way up from a smaller SLR like D40?
