THE STREETS in BLACK & WHITE--------------

This week's SP Thread is all about B&W - the vision and the process.

Streetphotography isn't about architecture, but it is the art of photographing PEOPLE in the city as they interact with other people, their surroundings or with YOU; the photographer.

There are many different ways and styles to do streetphotography.

You can use a long tele-lens and work as a sniper making sure people won't notice you, or you can use a wide lens and engage with the people you are capturing with your camera.

We take and inclusive view of the term of "street photography" -
it can be any kind of publicly accessible spaces - streets of course, but also:

parks, cafes, bars, restaurants, stores and tiny places on a corner,
concert halls and operas, as well as huge rock-stages, etc. etc.

!!! Post your pictures as an answer to THIS first post so they won't be misplaced !!!

Underneath is the "TECHNICAL CORNER" - you can post technical tips and/or
questions concerning street photography,

below it the "HISTORICAL CORNER" - you can post your personal favorites
from masters of street photography of the past!

and below that is the "PERSONAL ENCOUNTERS CORNER" where you can
tell us about your pictures that come with a story.
