Is 20D to 5D II an upgrade?

I'm an amateur enthusiast. Got and Olympus E-10 in 2000, shot non-stop till 2004 when I got a Canon 20D, shot non-stop till now. Got a pocketable Leica D-Lux 3 along the way. Love them all. Lenses are 24L, 50/1.4 85/1.8, 135/2

I have a 5D II on pre-order from Amazon. I've been waiting years to go full frame. I want narrow depth of field and beautiful colour quality in natural and low light.

I'm not as wildly excited about the 5D II as I thought I'd be. The extra pixels seem to be mostly a burden. The weaker bayer filters will sacrifice colour fidelity, the DIGIC IV processing destroys image detail even at low ISO.

I made a list of features I care about, and I see why I am ambivalent. The 20D has more features that are better.

I'm probably going to end up getting it. What have I missed or am I wrong about?
