Wow the SX1 IS may have most of the features that all of us Powershot S3 S5 IS users have been clamoring for! 28mm wide angle!! 1080P video, plus an HDMI output cable, nice!! If the picture quality at least maintains the S3 or S5 level, then I will be first in line for this camera. And 4 fps shooting is great, too! The longer zoom range, eh, I didn't need it but I'll take it; but did it come at a loss of lens quality? I hope not, but the main disappointment I see is the 2.8-5.6 aperture, a step down from the 2.7-3.5 we've been used to, especially at the tele end. Also, the lcd is a tiny step down from the s5 (3") to 2.8" I think, but that's not a deal breaker. I just really hope the lens change etc does not lower image quality, because the added features almost make me drool.
