Copyright Question
Sep 16, 2008

So I had taken some photos of a young lady. She worked for my landlord (at the time) and my landlord suggested I do her photos. I got some rent discounts and some nice photos out of the deal.
This young lady eventually gets her senior photos elsewhere. Not a big deal though. She confesses that she likes the ones I previously did and that she would just print those out. I tell her to let me know which ones she wants and I can get them printed for her. She then tells me to not worry about it, she knows a website that will print them and she can do them herself.
"Well you can't do that...they have my copyright on it."
"Well this is a special website and they'll print anything."
"You don't understand. The pictures you have are edited for the web. They are not print quality and they have my © on them so they can't be printed."
"I think you're making it up, no other photographers have this rule."
So here I am...asking other photographer's opinions. Can she print them out legally? If yes or no, is it morally right to do that?
Thanks in advance.
