F50fd + WP-FXF50 for Underwater ?

Hi folks,

I'm taking a long trip this year and my intent is to shoot a lot of underwater stuff with a P&S camera - I'll be traveling to Australia and Fiji - I've done some research and found that the F100fd may be decent for the job but I was wondering if anyone has done any underwater photography using the F50fd and WP-FXF50 housing?
