upgrading from a D70.. will I be amazed.

I have a d70 (not S).. and am eagerly awaiting the d90.
i hate my dim viewfinder where everything looks in focus, even when it issnt.. and the tiny lcd.
if anyone has experience with a d90 after using a d70 ? , will i notice any other differences ?
like NOISE ? or metering ? etc etc...
come on.. make me more excited.
