Should i buy "THIS" 40D now?

I found the Canon
EOS 40D EF-S 17-85 Kit for 1.149 euros
and the
EOS 40D EF-S 18-55 IS + 55-250 IS KIT for 1.190 euros.

I noticed the brand new 50D but it seems that the body costs a lot and i only have a couple of old SLR canon lenses that don't know if are ok.

Even if the in-depth review of the 50D hasn't be yet concluded i would like your opinion about buying one of the the above KITS.
Should i go for one of them or i should wait.....???

Please every opinion is very important , this is my first DSLR and i would like to make a wise choice
