what has happened to this image?????????

it appears this way on my laptop. same image on the desktop is normal.

was originally on desktop and transferred to laptop. i transfer files back and forth between 2 computers and external drive.

is this an example of a corrupted file? if it is, have i contaminated files in other 2 components. came across a few of these in laptop.
