So close to buying 50D

I was waiting for the 50D. It really filled the last missing bits from 40D so it was time to finally upgrade from my old trusty 300D to something better.

After the release yesterday i was prepared to put a pre-order on the body.

But then Nikon D90 shows up...

I would never switch to Nikon, just love Canon cameras. But suddenly I realised that making movies with my sharp camera lenses is a possibility and not a wet dream.

So my old trusty 300D will continue to service me a little longer. Now I really hope that the 60D (coming out next fall - we presume) will have movie mode built in. Come on Canon, give us the movie mode! I and my wallet are waiting...
