This is NOT a leak from any Canon source.

With the Digic 4 processor and the sensor technology employed in the 50D Canon should be able to produce a 5D that has 21 mpx and a frame rate of about 4.5 frames per second, a combination that has about the same data rate as the 50D. That means that the pixel area would be about double that of the 50D, implying that the ISO rating could increase from the 50D's ISO 12,800 to 25,600.

That (and the adoption of some of the other new 50D features) should make the 5D competitive with Nikon's D700 in its low light capabilities, with much better resolution and with a just slightly lower frame rate, which would be a good tradeoff overall.

It will be interesting to see what they do about the AF system, and it would be nice to have a flip up screen.
