OK that makes sense to me. I don't really want the in body IS either but occasionally when I use my primes I do wish there is stabilization available.

something else to go out of adjustment, or to lack as much accuracy
as a fixed sensor.

Just a retired mechanical engineer who hates gimmicks like this
because this is the sort of thing that breaks or fails first. That's
why I am not too impressed with IS on lenses.
