Questions for Disney World Shooters

I've looked at the various Disney threads and have seen many great pictures. Enough to know that I'm going to need my UWA (Sigma 10-20mm) for its expansive vistas and my tele-zoom (Canon 70-300mm IS) for Animal Kingdom (on my Canon 40D).

I need some help on what would be my best choice for a normal zoom between my Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 (the newer version) or my Canon 28-135mm IS. I think I'm going to have to take both. With things happening fast, I like the range of the Canon but the f-stop speed and IQ of the Sigma are tough to leave behind.

Do you folks who have been to Disney World think its necessary to take both? or would one or the other be sufficient?

Also, I don't usually use flash in the field other than for fill light but for this trip is it worth also carrying my shoe mount unit for when my granddaughter is with the various princesses?
