Has photography become mostly post processing? Who shoots JPG?

I am curious how many people shoot mostly jpg? It seems that there is a lot of post processing going on to salvage mediocre photos these days. I think many people shoot raw primarily for this reason. I believe one should work on improving their photography skills and equipment and not rely on the computer to make a good photo out of an average photo. I do post process once in a while (not often though) to improve a good pic, but if a photo is blurry for example I toss it. And I rarely use image adjustments in PhotoShop. I also don't believe in buying soft lenses then sharpening the resulting photos on the computer later This is just me though and I'm sure other people are content doing this. .... Am I behind the times in this regard?

I hope this doesn't ruffle any feathers, I'm just curious if anybody else feels this way.
