Pentax DA 300mm f4..Full Frame or Not??
Jul 29, 2008
Hi All,
I haven't had the time to throughly test on a film body whether the new Pentax DA 300 f4 lens is fully capable with frame. I'm not including the possibility that although it might cover a full frame sensor or full frame with 35mm film... it may not be optomized for full frame if and when a full frame Pentax camera is ever released.
My question only concerns whether there is much light falloff or vignetting if the DA 300 f4 lens is used on a full frame film camera. Has anyone tested this out..especially comparing light fallofff and vignetting when compared to any other Pentax full frame 300mm fixed focal length lens. Thanks!
Dave

The Fujifilm X-Pro3's new viewfinder, new screen and titanium construction all make for an appealing camera, but perhaps only for a certain type of photographer.
