Keep the 40-150mm lens!

I was in the same decision process when I had a shoot that required two photos back to back, each about 15 feet apart, multiple times. I couldn't get far enough back for the 50mm to be effective on the 50-200mm lens but 40mm was perfect on the 40-150mm. It also had enough reach to get the far shot and produced really sharp images. I had forgotten what a gem of an lens it was. That experience has lead me to keep mine.

I love my 50-200mm lens, but the 40-150mm is lighter and still produces great results and is worth keeping around considering the $ you'll get selling it.
