Epson 1400 vs Canon Pro9000

Hi

I'm getting just a little fed up with my Epson 2400. Seem to spend most of my time doing nozzle checks / cleans. Great printer if you print every day otherwise its a pain in the butt !!! Thinking of changing back to a dye ink printer. So my question for those of you who own either the 1400 or 9000 do you have any problems particularly with regards to blockages if not used regularly.
