going film!

I just found a Canon AE-1 with lens for $45. They said they'd throw in a flash for $20.

I'm finding that I really prefer shooting people and stealing moments and the shutter priority only, along with the 50mm 1.8 (full frame ofcourse) will really work well for that.

Should I go for it?

I've got a d40 with kit lens and 55-200VR. It's a nice set, but pretty slow. I've had my eye on the SB-600 + 50mm 18 Nikor, but that combo will cost $300+. I'm so cash strapped right now.

Any old school film ppl want to talk me out of it?
