Best "bang for your buck" tripod & ballhead setup

I have blown all my money on my D300 and glass... I potentially have $400 left to spend on a "jack of all trades" tripod and ballhead setup. I want something that is lightweight but stable (who doesn't right?). I don't want to spend $500+ on just the arca swiss ball head and have to put down even more on the tripod.

The setup I was thinking of was the Flashpoint F-1328 tripod with their F-3 QR ballhead, which shipped should keep me under $400. Again, like everyone, I would like to spend less...but could spend a little more once I complete a cost benefit analysis. Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated. THANK YOU!
