Photographic printing on fabric

Hello,
I'm working on a fashion project and I want to print some of my photographs on fabric using an ink jet printer. I've done some research on line and have found several posts which say you can freeze fabric over paper and run it through the printer.
Does anyone have any experience with this and is there any particuliar model that you have used.
