Type M+ vs. Type H xD Card Speed

I just did a test with a new Olympus Type M+ card against a Fuji Type H card. Both 2gb. I formatted each of them in my Fuji E550 and roughly timed the process.

The results were:

1. Olympus Type M+ = 3 flips of the hour glass on the LCD
2. Fujifilm Type H = 12 flips of the hour glass on the LCD

Conclusion:

The type M+ card is quite a bit faster than the Type H card.

Does this agree with what others have found?
