any of you wear glasses?

(this will probably sound strange to some people.)

to those who wear glasses, how do you use your optical viewfinder? i mean, what do you do with your glasses. do you take them off for each pic you take, do you just slide them on your forhead or do you wear contacts?

i'm about to get my first DSLR and as far as i can see i can't see thru the OVF very well. my eye is far too far away from the OVF, because the glasses are in the way. as a result i can't see the whole frame, not mentioning the status bar at the bottom.

just to be clear, the dioptre adjustment is fine and has nothing to do with this.
