4/3" rangefinder... why not?

I know there are certain things about rangefinder cameras that HAVE to be like the M8... but, if Leica is willing to make a camera that can be in the market (not necessarily had made, like the M series) for around 1000... to 1200 bucks, that gives people the rangefinder experience, and can also use other lenses with the M mount, and just make a few dedicated lenses for ultra wide angles... like a 7 mm, or a 8 mm, that with the crop factor, it would be equivalent to a 14 or 16...

I think a camera like this would be the product Leica needs to create a massive rangefinder demand...
