I am trying to understand how to maximize the benefit of the Image Stabilization device which quite a few Canon lenses feature and it would be most helpful to know in which situations this system is the most/less efficient based on the way it works.
I read somewhere that you should take your picture within half a second after pressing the shutter button halfway in order to retain the most of IS benefit. Is that a fair statement?
Thanks for your answers
