URGENT - help needed with Canon Pro9500 print speed

I just bought this printer for my company, and I'm bringing it to a major event to print some candids, and I must be doing something wrong. It's taking almost four minutes to print a borderless 4x6, high quality, glossy photo paper. Reviews I've read suggest it should be half that. Is there a setting I need to adjust that will make my life easier?
