The HP 8850 and 9180 (almost the same printer) both use all three black inks on fine art matte paper. They also print matte black on plain paper. So for your use the HP for A4 matte fine art without switching is a better value IMO. The 9180 was on sale recently, for about the cost of one set of print heads and inks.

Otherwise if you find a good deal on a 2400 for matte paper just leave the MK in it at print away.
Either of the two printers will make perfectly well printed professional prints.
