Nikon D80 vs D60

Hi there,

I wanna buy my first DSLR and I'm spinning around D80 and D60.I had before Panasonic FZ50K for almost 1 year(made around 10000 shots) ,so I hope the transition to DSLR will be smoother. I have read for like 4 months reviews and saw samples of both in different situations.I would like to have someone's opinion on how they both feel in hand,which one delivers better photos(some samples of both would be great) .My budget for both body and lens is around 1200$. Some lens suggestions would also be helpful. If anybody has or had both,I would appreciate his comments on this threat.
