AVG 8.0

Updgraded to AVG 8.0, it automatically starts a full scan which took about 4 hours. My PC is 4 years old and has about 50 gbyte on the drive. You could use the PC but it was somewhat sluggish.
I like the interface of the new version but would recommend to update at bedtime so it will run when you don't want to be using the PC.
