Question about D300's 'custom' settings - White Balance?

I'm considering the D300 but I have a question. I looked through the review here on the site but didn't find the answer so I thought I'd ask here.

Does the D300 (or any camera on the market, if not the D300) allow you to save Custom White Balance settings? For example, I'm more of a hobbyist and shoot random things in my apartment lately. I'd love the ability to set the custom white balance once for daylight in my apt., and another time for night with the lights on, and then be able to just pick that as my white balance setting when the time comes instead of having to keep throwing the white card in front of the lens every time.

Can the D300 do that? If not, can any other camera do it?
