Thank you for your appreciation of my website. I hope soon to post new winter work that I took during the past winter. So, check my website in a week or so.

Yes I use a tripod mount with the 70-200 F4. I find with out it, when I position the camera vertically on the tripod, even though I have the quick release plate firmly tightened on the camera base, their can be a very subtle shift of the camera during a long exposure. With the camera tripod mount ring, not only is the camera lens combination somewhat more balanced on the tripod, but changing to a vertical orientation only requires rotating the camera lens in the tripod mount ring and there is no possibility of shifting.
