450D SD Card Slot

For those who have a 450D to hand, do you find that the card slot is a bit poor - in the sense that when you try and insert or remove a SD card it doesn't properly click into place and requires a little persuasion? In comparison to my P&S the spring is rubbish. The card seems to catch on the body. For example, I press the card in to release it, and sometimes it stays "stuck down" and requires pulling out... Is this normal?? Will it loosen up over time?
