Lightroom help anyone

When you ftp a web gallery to your hosting site and there is not already a website set up, then how do you view the now posted web gallery from LR? I erased my current website in an experiment and uploaded a website from LR but I am not wise enough to know what address to put in the browser to view then....I know it must be simple but I don't know how. Any help please?
