Yeh, it is a bit more difficult then with the D2x... but not hugely so. There is just more area and you need a different technique for it.

Something I have always wondered about is, that why they canĀ“t make the filter in front of the sensor considerably larger than the sensor itself, leaving plenty of wiping wipe parking area at the edges? If nothing else, 5 mm extra space at either both left+right or top+bottom side enabling a nice sweep through the active area. With the present system, cleaning the sensor corners from pieces of bread and lumps of pizza cheese is quite difficult
