From what I've read, when using the Sony WAC you mentioned, the S5's (or S3) fully extended lens mechanism bumps into the back of the Sony lens. This requires that you have a spacer of some sort between the Sony and your adapter. This problem does not occur with either the Canon WAC or the Raynox WAC (I own the Raynox 6600 WAC).
