Yellowstone, Lens Advice
Feb 21, 2008

Hey Fellow pentaxians..

I am planning a trip to Yellowstone this spring and of course I'm taking a look at my current Camera equipment, well lenses, and feeling severly inadequte.....

I own a k100d Super, with the Kit lens, Smc A 50mm 1.7 and a Sigma 70-300mm dg (non apo)

When I initially got the Sigma, I wanted a cheap zoom to really get the hang of tele-photo shooting, but I am worried it may let me down during a trip to yellowstone.

That being said I've also wondered about getting a wide angle, such as the sigma 10-20 or one of the limited primes.

I am curious to find out how much the new sigma lenses (135-400mm and 150-500mm) will be As I figure I will be able to spend up to $1000 on one or two lenses.
Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated!!
