Wondering about a battery grip
Jan 27, 2008

Hi, i was wondering if anyone has had any experience an lcd timer battery grip for a 400d. It combines a remote timer/intervalometer and battery grip into one. I can't seem to find a brand or company name, let alone an item/part number, but here is a link to an ebay store selling them.

http://cgi.ebay.com/LCD-Timer-Pro-Battery-Grip-for-Canon-350D-400D-BG-E3_W0QQitemZ180202280930QQihZ008QQcategoryZ48516QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQtrksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQcmdZViewItem

I am planning on purchasing a battery grip in the near future to compensate for the small grip of my 400d (large hands). I am also thinking of purchasing or making a timed shutter release to take some star trail shots and do some astro photography with my camera on a telescope. The main concern I have is with some of the reviews I've read on 3rd party grips and the quality issues.

Any thoughts/inputs on this grip would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for everyones advice, Sybias
