And yes, I did mean the MF-1, I have an MC-7 etc etc ... , got confused about the number, sorry. Why couldn't Olympus have called it something sensible like "OM-E" for OM to E-series adapter or even "OM-D" for digital?
Try setting the camera on a tripod, put a focus target (the front page of a newspaper would be ideal) a reasonable distance away, then try your focus through the OVF. Adjust the dioptre adjustment until it is as sharp as possible, with your glasses on, if you wear glasses. Now check if the focus is correct with live view, without moving the camera or the newspaper. Probably putting the newspaper at an angle will help you get it right.
