ICC/ICM Paper Profiles
Jan 20, 2008

I'm confused and need help with and answer! My set-up is:

Windows XP

Paint Shop Pro X2 to edit and print photos (I know - don't laugh - it's not CS2 or CS3 but I'm used to it and pretty comfortable using it.)
Printer is an Epson R1800 - relatively new.

Now, I've downloaded Epson's premium profiles for my printer and so far I installed the ones for the variety of matte paper. Two things I've noticed, first in the profiles

folder on the disk some profiles have the extention of .icm and others have .icc.

What's the difference? Secondly, when I print, in the printer properties dialog box where you select the type of media the new profiles I installed don't show up - I can see them in the folder but they don't come up in the print properties dialog box - did I do something wrong?

Sorry, I'm kind of new here and don't know how/or can't put in an image of the dialog box I'm talking about!
Many thanks, JMDavis
