tripod and bag for yellowstone

Been watching the forums for a while and quite impressed with some of your advice so i thought id ask you....
advanced amateur here going to yellowstone in summer. im looking for a reasonably small/light tripod and a backpack/bag to hold my gear. (i have a 40d, 70-30 is usm, 60mm 2.8 macro, ef-s 10-20, and the 28-135 that came with the camera).
Any suggestions would be great.. dont want to be too sore lugging gear around the park!!
