Seagulls with 400D and 70-300 IS
Jan 4, 2008

Hi,

It was a cold morning, I and my wife decided to walk along Dubai Creek to enjoy the weather as well as to feed the seagulls. I had always wanted to test my 70-300 IS to its limits and found this to be the most perfect day to do so.

After having experienced extremely fast action seagulls, I was afraid that the images would not be satisfactory. But, this camera and lens combination proved me wrong. What do you think about these images?

Canon 400D set to AI servo, automatic focus point selection, continous shoot, ISO400, RAW, shutter either 1/750 or 1/1000 with f6.7 or f8.
EF 70-300 IS with IS=Mode2 for panning and AF On.
