Beware though MTBFs are indicative only and that Nikon warranty covers time ( i.e. 1 year ), not number of clicks !

So if you shutter dies after 200,000 in 11 months, it will be replaced.
If it dies after 2,000 in 13 months, you will have to pay !

In MTBF, M stands for "Mean", average... I had my D1X shutter die after 45,000 "only".
